Our Story: The World’s Original TV Protectors: A Story of 7 Children, 1 Wii, and a Family Mission

It started with a miracle, followed by a heartbreak.

In 2007, our family won a Nintendo Wii in a competition. For a household with seven children, it felt like a miracle! Our parents decided to surprise us all; they had been carefully budgeting for months to buy our very first flat-screen TV so we could enjoy the new console together. It was the centerpiece of our living room an amazing gift for the whole family. 

That surprise gift didn't last long. 

Then came the "Wii remote incident." One stray throw from a young family memeber, a sickening crack, and our investment was gone. Back then, "screen protectors" didn't exist-not even for mobile phones. There was no way to fix the screen, and with nine mouths to feed, there certainly wasn't the money to replace it.

From a garage in Monmouthshire to the World's Original Specialist.

We didn't want any other family to feel that "gut-punch" moment the feeling of seeing months of savings shatter in a second. Because there was nothing on the market to help anywhere in the world, our parents went into the garage and invented the solution themselves.

What started as a husband-and-wife team in a small garage near Monmouthshire has grown into a global pioneer in screen protection. Today, we work out of our warehouse in Weston-super-Mare, but our roots haven't changed. We are still the same UK family-run business, making sure no other family loses their hard-earned reward to a split-second accident.

When we say our protectors are "family-tested," we aren't using a marketing slogan. We are the seven children from that story. From the eldest (born in '96) to our youngest sibling (born in '06), every single one of us now works within the business.

We grew up in that high-traffic, high-energy home. We know that accidents happen, that remote controls fly, and that toddlers love to touch shiny screens. We’ve spent nearly 20 years perfecting the our TV Screen Protectorsbecause we know it doesn't just protect a piece of glass it protects your money, your routine, and your peace of mind.
